DESCRIPTION:The National Sorig Conference\, organized annually by the Facu
 lty of Traditional Medicine (FoTM)\, serves as a strategic platform to adv
 ance research\, academic exchange\, and evidence-based practice in Sowa-Ri
 gpa. Evolved from the Faculty Research Seminar initiated in 2021\, the con
 ference facilitates dissemination of research\, sharing of clinical experi
 ences\, and scholarly engagement among practitioners and students\, while 
 supporting publication through the Bhutan Sorig Journal. As the 3rd editio
 n\, the conference reflects a growing national commitment to strengthening
  traditional medicine through research and capacity building\, with a forw
 ard vision to expand into an International Sorig Conference engaging globa
 l Sowa-Rigpa practitioners.\nMain Theme: Research\, Innovation and Evid

 the Conference\nThe Scientific Committee (SC) of the National Sorig Confer
 ence ensures the quality and academic integrity of the conference by revie
 wing and selecting high-quality abstracts for presentations in line with c
 onference themes.\nSC’s key responsibilities are: \n·      Reviewi
 ng and selecting submitted abstracts\n·      Nominating and confirmi
 ng invited speakers\n·      Scheduling presentation sessions and pan
 el discussions\n·      Identifying session chairs and co-chairs\n·
       Appointing judges\, masters of ceremony (MCs)\, and rapporteurs
 \n·      The SC also finalizes the overall conference agenda.\nThrou
 gh these roles\, the SC upholds strong scholarly standards and contributes
  to advancing Traditional Medicine research and practice\, while supportin
 g the conference as a key annual academic event of the Faculty of Traditio
